We ship to all the world
1) Due to the nature of our products, it is very difficult to state an exact date of shipping.
2) Orders generally ship within 60 days from the time that we process your order or earlier.
About the merchandise ready in our store we still need some time (up to 10 days ) to prepare and eventually remake
some damaged pieces before shipping.
3) A period is necessary because all our products(from the least to the most expensive) are uniquely and especially made for our customers, unless we have the item ready in our store.
4) Days in transit are generally 1-5 business days and do not include the day of pick up, weekends or holidays.
5) Few days during the month of August are for our holiday.
6) Orders are shipped by ground freight only in Italy.
7) We ship orders using air freight with these carriers: Fedex,UPS,DHL, or EMS(Express Mail Shipping) this is a special branch of Post Office.
8)We replace anything broken during the transport, alway take a photo of the broken pieces and tell us the right size, because your item was made only for you and it is not mass produced, refuse damaged boxes.
9) The breakage must be notified to us by email within 7 days from arrival.
10) If the item or parts of it are not the same as you ordered, or there are parts missing, you must notify us within 10 days of receiving goods.
11) We don't accept complaints after 7 days from delivery.
12) On some orders,we may accept 50% on ordering and 50% when the goods is ready. Before shipping, we send an email to the client and telephone call advising that we are ready to ship and to send the remaining balance.If we don't receive the balance within 15 days from the date of our email and phone call, we will presume that the client is no more interested in receiving the goods,we will send one more email advising that the waiting period is over than we will sell the goods to other clients.
13) Like any other shop, we do our sales periodically and there is the possibility of finding an item that you purchased previously at an higher price, this is normal and we are not obliged at any refund.
Return Policy Requirements
1 )We do our utmost to ensure the highest quality possible, so, as you have already seen the working process on our site, and read above, E-commerce is anyway regulated by the European Parliament directive 97/7/CE which states that you can cancel an order within 7 days after making it but this directive also makes exceptions stating that some items of which the production may start immediately(for example on customized items as our glass chandeliers are) by melting related glass and colors which may not be used for other clients.
2 )Tell us by Email your intention of returning the goods within 7 days after receipt.
If the returned item qualifies for return,and the item has been verified,costumers should allow 30 days for refund to insert in their accounts.
3 )Original shipping and andling charges are not re-fundable, except in the case of manufacturer's defects.
4 )Return shipping charges the responsability of the customer, except in the case of manufaturer's defects.
5 )Do not return anything without advising Luce Italia; the goods will be rejected.
6 )Goods have to be returned in original boxes, packing material and re-sellable condition to ensure refund back to your account.
7 )If damage occurs to a returned item during shipping due to insufficient packing, a refund will not be issued, or partially issued according to the extent of the damage.
Sales at discounted prices
8 )Sales may be repeated more than once a year,according to our production capacity, we suggest our costumers not to wait untill the last day of our sale period to make the order.
Tax and custom duty
9)No added tax to UE countries.
Countries outside the EU, If you need further information, please contact your custom duty office.
10)On replacements sometimes there may be a small difference from the original in size, colors or shape; please consider that before ordering.
11)The firm Luce Italia reserves the right to vary prices and selling strategy when it is necessary (this does not apply to confirmed orders).
12)Luce Italia has the right of accepting or not accepting an order.
In either case the client will be advised by email.
